Phlebotomy technician’s job is to draw blood from either animals or humans. It is the responsibility of phlebotomist to draw blood, handle it properly and to store it in a safe place to keep away from harmful diseases. The phlebotomist must be of calm nature, must have caring attitude and should enjoy working with other people. It is the duty of phlebotomist to make the patient feel comfortable by continuing the process in a stress free, painless and easy manner.  They must be trained to work in computer and with the other equipments. Phlebotomy certification work in health care agencies, doctor’s office, hospitals, blood banks and in other settings. Nowadays the job opportunities for phlebotomy technicians are very high and they are on high demand. Most of the institutes and colleges in Alabama offer accredited phlebotomy course.
