The online world is vastly growing at an incredible pace – we all know that. The question is, is the web more able to provide us with what we need? Or are we simply becoming too reliant on it? Obviously before everything went online, the world needed to function, goods needed to be bought and sold. Suffice to say there are millions who have yet to browse the internet, or “do a search”. If I take an example from my own life however, there are certain things that I now go online for, which I used to purchase in shops. Everyone knows about the kind of goods that are cheaper online – electrical, CDs etc. But I’m talking about mens suits. Yes. You would never have thought, but I actually buy my suits online for a simple reason – finding suits that fit me in store wastes a lot of time and energy, and if there’s one thing that the web offers above anything else, it’s speed. You see, at 6’5”, I’m a very tall man, and I have a very large build as well. I usually buy new suits a couple of times a year and always dread it. But the Savile Row company online have a section on their website for people like me, called big tall mens clothing. They have a fantastic range, the quality is impeccable and it all fits like a glove. Why bother going shopping when you can get it delivered to your door? Big tall mens clothing is a revolutionary idea, it appears. Not sure why it’s taken so long for a company to provide for a market in need, but I’m glad Savile Row have done it. And because it’s direct, the prices against the quality is absolutely brilliant. You couldn’t find that in a department store.
